The idea, outline and the first recordings originated during the days we were filming the video of "Live at Parque Luro", in a cabin inside this historical nature reserve, while surrounded by foxes, deers, synthesizers and a myriad of cables.
Rucalen, in mapuche language means "being home", and this album is a reflection of that feeling, of being away from the chaos. The connection with this environment, its wildlife and sounds, the night, the silence and the emotions were the source of inspiration for this new work.
All music composed, arranged, performed and produced by Cartas de Japón.
Cartas de Japón are: Lucas Tripaldi, Esteban Menash and Pablo Bilbao
